Bad call and turnover in 4th quarter almost cost Trojans' 33rd straight win
Despite several disputed calls against Trojans and the fumble by today's MVP Reggie Bush in the 4th quarter, Trojans survive to extend their winning streak to 33.
Bush rushs for 294yds, received 68yds and returns for 138yds-- total all-purpose 513 yds--the new NCAAF record.
USC comes back to erase the 21:13 by scoring 4 TDs in 3rd quarter. However, the turnover by Bush at 9:59, 4th quarter almost costs the game. Defesne then takes care and forces two turnovers and Trojans score a TD and a late FG to hold the game.
Paul Pinegar passed to Joe Fernandez to the right for 6 yard gain in the 4th quarter 10:05 for the TD should be an incompleted pass according the replay. Pinegar passed to Fernandez down the middle for 4 yard gain in the same quarter 3:02 should be interpected according the replay.
Despite the ugly win, USC can still secure top2 spot in BCS ranking because No.3 Miami lost to GA Tech.
The next goal is to BEAT UCLA.
One more win to the Rose Bowl.
Two more win to the 3rd straight National Championship title.
